Or maybe you are looking to offer a challenging adventure to some youth people? Well, look no further than White Water Rafting for Schools, Youth Groups or Scouts!

We can offer an exhilarating, exciting and adventurous experience. Either take your group rafting on the magnificent River Tay, or in the centre of Glasgow, we have something from everyone!

You may wonder, why should I choose the Adventure Academy for our White Water Rafting Trip? Well, we have a strong working relationship with many Glasgow Schools and Youth Groups. In addition, Safety is our prime concern. Our instructors create a safe nurturing environment for all participants. This lets the young people have whale of a time, while feeling supported.

We hold an Adventurous Activities License and have public liability insurance. We can also provide an activity-specific risk assessment for the activity, to make your life as an organiser easier. You also have the option of incorporating the white water rafting into a bespoke development programme. Please chat with us for further information.

What do we need to bring?

We supply wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmets, and rafts. All that you need to bring is swimwear, old trainers that you don’t mind getting wet, and a towel.

Enjoy a white water rafting trip without leaving Glasgow! We run white water rafting trips for schools at Scotlands only artificial white water course.

Jump in a bus, train or the underground and enjoy the exhilaration of gliding down the rapids. Equipped with toilets and changing facilities, Pinkston is the ideal location for your white water rafting trip.

The white water rafting experience at Pinkston lasts between 2.5 to 3 hours. We will supply wetsuits, buoyancy aids, and helmets all you need to supply is adventurous young people!

White Water Rafting on the River Tay

From just £175 per boat of 5.

Approximately 90 minutes outside of Glasgow, the River Tay is an awesome location if your group wants to experience rafting a river. The River Tay is an ideal introduction to white water rafting.

The six mile stretch from Aberfeldy to Grandtully is an action packed route, where you can enjoy thrilling rapids and the beautiful Scottish scenery. Three rapids are particularly thrilling; Zoom Flume, the Washing Machine and finally the Grandtully Rapid.

The trip will take just under three hours, and we can organise the logistics of returning you back to the start.
